Networking Night: Businesses, Students, Academics, Mentors...and more!

UCL Advances invites you to join us in celebrating the successes so far of various businesses that we’ve supported through the past year. We’d like to celebrate the successes with the partners, companies, students, researchers, mentors and stakeholders that have made it all possible.

The keynote speaker will be Penny Daly. Penny has a wide and diverse international business background with experience in Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and the UK. Not only has she worked for international businesses, academic and government agencies but has also established her own businesses - the first when she was 6 years old (a honey company). Slightly older, she founded a children’s clothing and textile company in Venezuela and, in the UAE, co-founded a management training enterprise; she continues to have business interests in Africa. Recently, she has been a director of a UK social enterprise management and training consultancy and is a trustee of a food charity. Her deep interest is in growing things - be it plants, businesses or people.
